Senior Sales/Fundraising Walk Director

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Regional Heart Walk Director in our Cleveland office.

The Senior Regional Heart Walk Director will provide overall strategic leadership and direction to staff in implementing the Heart Walk. Will lead team to the goal of making the Heart Walk a $2 + million dollar event.

Responsibilities: Manage Heart Walk operations with direct supervisory responsibility to four field staff and one administrative staff. Manages volunteer leadership and major sponsors. Assist staff in prospecting and obtaining corporate sponsorships. Accountable for hiring, directing, training, and evaluating staff. Build strong relationships with volunteers.

Qualified candidates need to have:

* Four (4) years fundraising or outside business to business sales experience with at least one year management
* Proven track record in securing cause level sponsorships
* Proven track record in corporate team development, with experience in managing breakout companies
* Ability and willingness to travel and attend meetings throughout the Affiliate or other locations as requested
* Ability and willingness to work irregular hours including attending evening and weekend meetings or events as appropriate
