Job Description and Requirements

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sr Business Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team within the Corporate Strategy organization. This role requires a combination of analytical competency, strategic thinking, and product management expertise to drive actionable insights and develop data-driven products that enhance business performance and optimize operational efficiency.

Grounded in business, the candidate is also fluent in technology, able to assess current technical environment and develop requirements and conceptual solutions to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate is a confident professional with broad skills in analyzing and solving complex business problems, executing complex analysis, writing and presenting findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions and product features.
  • Design, develop, and manage data products that provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key performance metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility for analytics purposes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and data product management to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and education on the value and use of information & operational data.
  • Promote and facilitate the development of self-service capabilities for users in the access and reporting of data.
  • Participate in the definition of the global data and analytics strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a business analyst, data analyst or finance analyst, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Preferred experience in operational, management, sales or financial reporting as a business analyst or data analyst.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data manipulation languages; experience with data governance and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience reviewing and writing technical & business requirements in relation to Business Intelligence or data management projects.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging data and analytics to drive business strategy and decision-making.
  • BS/BA is required, MBA preferred.
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $166,000 - $250,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
