Job Summary
Under direct supervision, acquires skills and knowledge of professional concepts in research data analysis. Works on small projects or segments of projects with limited scope and complexity.
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent will provide research and administrative assistance to the UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship (PPF). The incumbent will assist with gathering, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data for research projects in the PPF. The incumbent will conduct literature reviews, complete IRB applications, and other regulatory applications, draft and edit abstracts, and prepare scientific posters. The incumbent will work with faculty and fellows to draft, edit, and submit manuscripts to peer reviewed journals. The incumbent will also provide administrative support to the fellowship, including maintaining websites; preparing hand-outs; and assisting with scheduling fellowship speakers; making room reservations; and setting up audio/visual equipment for presentations.

ZSFG is dedicated to providing services that integrates medical, psychiatric, and addiction treatment. SFGH is the largest provider of acute psychiatric care and the only San Francisco provider of psychiatric emergency care. The UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship (PPF) at SFGH (http://ppf.ucsf.edu/) aims to promote a culture of patient-centered care and data-driven public-academic partnerships. The mission of the PPF is to train the next generation of public mental health care leaders who will provide excellent patient-centered care to vulnerable populations with severe mental illness through: 1) understanding and implementing relevant, evidence-based psychosocial rehabilitation and psychopharmacological treatments, 2) promoting recovery, and 3) developing rewarding public-academic partnerships to examine their work.
