Job Summary
This position will support two key CTSI programs:
The Participant Recruitment Program (PRP) develops tools, infrastructure, and resources to support participant recruitment at UCSF, with an emphasis on diverse, representative populations. The programs aims to connect with campus and community stakeholders to assure program deliverables meet the needs of the diverse research enterprise. This position will provide operational support for the PRP electronic health record recruitment and social media services, working with studies to onboard to our service; they will also provide support for existing users, answering questions, advising on program policies, updating study recruitment records, and helping to troubleshoot basic issues. This position will also support general program operations, including communications, maintaining program and service metrics reports, and updating billing records. The incumbent will work with a high degree of autonomy to follow established processes to carry out program activities and fully analyze issues and problems in current programs, gather data and information, find and evaluate alternatives and makes sound recommendations. The incumbent will be positive and energetic with a high level of motivation to work on a diverse set of projects for an evolving program. Flexibility to work on multiple projects, a natural aptitude for organization, and excellent communication skills are all valued traits.
The Community Engagement and RAGE programs work together to ensure robust, mutally-beneficial linkages between the UCSF researchers and the broader community to ensure the research enterprise is addressing health equity and working towards health and well-being for all. The position will support the RAGE Program for its monthly meetings of the Steering Committee, keeping track of progress on action items and handling technical aspects, work with program staff to manage consultations requests using SalesForce and Outlook calendaring, participate actively in team meetings and events, and serve as a liason between the UCSF team and our community-based partners on issues such as billing and payment, scheduling, and drafting presentation materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner for multiple audiences, and, preferably in multiple languages. He/she/they will demonstrate effective interpersonal and collaborative skills to build strong working relationships within and beyond the UCSF team. Lived experience and existing ties to underrepresentated communities in the Bay Area, and/or Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese language fluency is preferred.

Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
