Description:
McKissack & McKissack, specializing in architecture & interiors, program & construction management, planning & facilities management, environmental engineering and transportation, has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager in our Los Angeles office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, interested in personal growth, who wants to be a member of our growing team and who meets the following qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engineering degree plus a minimum of 12 years experience in the building design and construction industry.
• Experience working on large Hospital and Medical Facilities in a major management role
• Specific experience and knowledge of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) requirements.
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification, not mandatory, but a definite plus
• LEED Accredited Professional designation and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification would also be a definite plus
• Demonstrated experience serving in an Owner’s Representative role
• Demonstrated ability to interact in a cooperative and effective manner with the owner
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate the work of consultants and contractors
• Excellent writing and oral communications skills
• Strong computer skills, including experience in spreadsheets and project schedules
• Strong estimating and scheduling skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
